Biography
Dr. Md. Mahbubur Rahman has joined the North South University as an Assistant Professor in 2014. Before joining at the North South University he served as a part time lecturer at the Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology, University of Luebeck, Germany. Apart from his excellent academic track records, Dr. Rahman has proved himself as an outstanding research expert in the field of neuropharmacology evidenced by substantial number of publications in the world renowned peer reviewed journals. Dr. Rahman received his doctoral degree in 2013 from the Heidelberg University, Germany. He completed MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Bachelor of Pharmacy from Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka in 2008 and 2006 respectively. Currently, he is focusing his research on developing an animal model in an attempt to figure out the impact of food habits on neurodegenerative disorders. Dr. Rahman started his carrier as a Production Pharmacist at the Eskayef Bangladesh Limited (SK+F) in 2006. He also served Northern University Bangladesh as a lecturer for two years. Dr. Rahman is teaching Pharmacology and Physiology at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, North south University.
